Each year, students of the Dalla Lana School of Public Health (DLSPH) at the University of Toronto host a conference to examine a critical and timely public health issue.
In the wake of Canada150, the 10th annual DLSPH Student-Led Conference will acknowledge the role institutions and health research play in the oppression and marginalization of Indigenous communities.
The Next150 will honour the resistance of Indigenous peoples to colonialism by highlighting the work of critical academics and students, community acts of resistance, and land as the center of (re)claiming health and healing.
This two-day event will bring together all those interested in promoting the health and healing of communities affected by colonialism.
