Suffia Malik

Class of 2025

Suffia Malik is a resident doctor training in rural family medicine. She completed her medical degree in Kingston, Ont., where she developed interests in primary-care women’s and children’s health. She has produced work in global health, bioethics and the politics of health and conflict. Suffia is interested in writing about transnational health and human rights, medical education and the care of marginalized populations. She has produced four editions of a health sciences journal and edited three community magazines. Outside of work, Suffia is a passionate photographer and digital multimedia artist. She divides her time between Toronto and Southwestern Ontario.
