Sheila Gordon-Payne

Class of 2025

With a degree in nursing and a graduate degree under community health, Sheila Gordon-Payne’s experience includes a broad range of positions and expertise in nursing and health care in three provinces and two territories. Recent positions include point-of-care nursing in ICU/Emergency during COVID and in 2023 returning to nursing leadership for patient care and management support. In addition, she serves as an appointed member of the Registration Committee for the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives and is a surveyor who travels nationally and internationally with Accreditation Canada. Sheila is now, more than ever, passionate about health care and feels a need to explore, share important stories, and contribute to the path forward.
