Julia Yarkoni

Class of 2025

Julia Yarkoni’s life story is unique. She moved from Massachusetts to Quebec for a BA/Sc at McGill University in Montreal and surprised everyone by choosing an Israeli medical school. Residency brought her to the heartland, but part of her heart stayed in Israel. She married him and they have been blessed with two sons. As a family doctor, she balanced maternity with professionalism. But her love for adventure is what emboldened her to jump into the field of eating disorders. She has never looked back. She is currently working as a medical consultant for the first-ever residential facility for eating disorder treatment in Israel.
