Do I get credit for completing a CSGH on my degree?
No. You get a certificate and the CSGH is acknowledged on your degree.
Can a person without a background in Public Health be eligible to apply?
Yes. Please consult the list of participating programs. If you don’t see your program listed, you can still apply. Please contact us.
Can I apply to the CSGH if I am not a student at the University of Toronto?
No. Only students who have already been accepted into a Doctoral or Master’s program at the University of Toronto can apply to the CSGH.
Can I retroactively receive credit for the CSGH if I have completed all the requirements without having been in the specialization?
No. You need to have been accepted in the specialization to be considered. In some cases, students apply in their second year, and with approval of the CSGH Director, may get credit for some of the requirements already fulfilled.
