Professional Summary & Appointments
Marianne Levitsky holds a joint adjunct appointment with the Occupational and Environmental Health and the Global Health Divisions. She has a Masters degree in Environmental Studies from York University in Toronto and formerly held a number of senior positions with the Ontario public service. In these positions, she was responsible for occupational health and safety policy, research, and development of training and social marketing programs. She is co-founder and President of an international charitable organization, Workplace Health Without Borders, and is a Senior Associate with ECOH Management Inc., a consulting firm in Mississauga, Ontario. She is a Certified Industrial Hygienist/Registered Occupational Hygienist and has been recognized as a Distinguished Fellow of the American Industrial Hygiene Association. Her research interests encompass behavioural economics in relation to safety culture, and international occupational safety and health.
