In celebration of Black History/African Liberation month, the MPH in Black Health program presents the Black Health Lecture Series. The series features prominent Black health leaders who are experts in their field. They will be discussing various health topics and the impacts within Black communities locally and globally. Moderated by Dr. Roberta Timothy the series features Dr. Cynthia Maxwell (VP of Medical Affairs & System Transformation and Lead Medical Executive at Women’s College Hospital), Dr. Afua Cooper (Principal Investigator: A Black People’s History of Canada and Killam Research Chair: Black History and African Diaspora Studies) and Debbie Douglas (Executive Director OCASI – Ontario Council of Agencies Serving Immigrants). Sign up for one or all three and stay connected to our social media (@MPH_blackhealth on Twitter and MPH in Black Health on Linkedin) for updates!
