Babies are born with an invisible burden of industrial chemicals and pollutants in their bodies, coming from our air, food, water and medications taken by their parents. These factors can affect their future health. Dr. Jennifer Blake, professor at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health and in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Temerty Medicine, will discuss First Exposure, a new information hub and research network.

The Stress-Free Degree Lecture takes place during U of T’s Alumni Reunion (May 29 – June 2, 2024). Alumni Reunion is U of T’s premier alumni gathering — and largest of the year — that takes place every spring. For Alumni Reunion 2024, there will be more than 100 in-person and online events on offer across all three campuses so U of T alumni can enjoy a wide variety of activities and celebrations. From outdoor festivities and thought-provoking lectures to activities for the kids, there is something for every U of T grad at Alumni Reunion.
