The role of the microbiome in global health
The Centre for Global Child Health is a dedicated hub connecting basic scientists at SickKids with health-care professionals around the world. In partnership with the Aga Khan University in Pakistan, Drs. Bhutta and Parkinson are beginning to dissect the pathways by which the microbiome relates to maternal & child health and malnutrition. In addition to showcasing their work, Dr Bhutta will outline opportunities for SickKids scientists to further contribute to global child health.
