You are cordially invited to learn about the public health medical specialty! Please share widely with your colleagues within and outside U of T!
Please join us on September 16, 2020 from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM for the Public Health and Preventive Medicine (PHPM) Residency Program Information Session. The session is specifically for medical students and will give you a chance to learn more about the PHPM medical specialty and career options like being a medical officer of health, or working in clinical public health, research and addressing issues like the social determinants of health and health equity. You’ll have a chance to hear from the PHPM Residency Program faculty and residents, as well as a panel of Public Health and Preventive Medicine Specialists in the field. Following the session, there will also be an opportunity for networking and Q&A.
The session will be available via Zoom.
Panelists include :
- Dr. Ray Copes (Associate Professor, Dalla Lana School of Public Health)
- Dr. Karl Kabasele (Public Health Physician, York Region)
- Dr. Cindy Shen (Public Health Physician, York Region)
