Waikaremoana Waitoki is Māori from Ngāti Hako and Ngāti Māhanga iwi. She is Associate Professor of Māori and Indigenous Studies at Te Pua Wānanga ki te Ao, University of Waikato, Hamilton, Aotearoa. She is a clinical psychologist whose professional and research work encompass Kaupapa Māori psychology, adult mental health, child and adolescent mental health, supervision, accreditation, and curriculum development. Waikaremoana has previously served as the President of the New Zealand Psychological Society and currently serves as an advisory member of the Suicide Prevention Office for the Government of New Zealand.

Luke Rowe is of Ngāti Raukawa-ki-te-tonga and Tūwharetoa descent. He is a senior lecturer and senior research officer for the Research Centre for Hauora and Health, at Te Kunenga ki Pūrehuroa at Massey University, in Wellington, Aotearoa. As a registered clinical psychologist, Luke’s expertise is in health, whānau ora and high-performance sports psychology. His PhD focused on Tāne Ora – Māori Men’s health in the High-Performance context. He also serves as a member of the executive for the New Zealand College of Clinical Psychologists.

Jeffrey Ansloos, Ph.D., is Associate Professor of Indigenous Health and Social Policy and is the Tier II Canada Research Chair in Indigenous Studies of Health, Suicide, and Environmental Justice at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto. He is the founding director of the Critical Health and Social Action Lab, a Canada Foundation for Innovation-funded research center that supports action research for health justice. Ansloos is a psychologist and serves as a member of the board of directors for the Canadian Association of Suicide Prevention. He chairs the OISE Dean’s Advisory Council on Indigenous Education. He is Cree and English, belonging to the Fisher River Cree Nation (Ochekwi-Sipi; Treaty 5).

Dr. Suzanne L. Stewart, PhD, C.Psych, is a member of the Yellowknives Dene First Nation. She is a registered psychologist and Director of the Waakebiness-Bryce Institute for Indigenous Health at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto (U of T), where she is a Professor in the Division of Social and Behaviour Health Sciences. She holds the TC Energy Research Chair in Indigenous Health. Research and teaching interests include Indigenous health and healing in psychology (homelessness, youth mental health, identity, and work-life development), Indigenous determinants of health, Indigenous pedagogies in higher education and health sciences, and Indigenous research ethics and methodologies. She is committed to advancing Indigenous healing issues in academics, health practice, and policy.
