You are invited to our second workshop on Introduction to GitHub with Larry Dong, a second year PhD student in the Division of Biostatistics at Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto. His research interests include causal inference, Bayesian methods and their application to observational data. Larry has been recently selected as a GitHub Campus Expert, a program whose goal is to foster diverse and inclusive spaces for learning new technical skills, sharing experiences and building projects. This will serve as the first of several Git-centred workshops hosted by the Health Data Working Group this year. This tutorial introduces Git, a widely used software tool to track changes in your code, and GitHub, a Git-based version control system for projects. Register to receive Zoom link.
