Canadian Students for Sensible Drug Policy (CSSDP) – Toronto presents: How Do We Respond to the Overdose Crisis?, a panel event open to students, faculty, and the greater community beyond U of T, to help us better understand the multifaceted origins and perpetuation of the overdose crisis, and priorities identified by people who use drugs and harm reduction advocates. We will take an action-oriented approach to what we can do as students in health-related disciplines at the University of Toronto to support communities dealing with this epidemic.

Panelists: To Be Announced

At the end of the panel, there will be an overdose response training open to all attendees to learn how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose and administer naloxone.

About CSSDP – Toronto: We are a grassroots network of youth and students at the University of Toronto who are committed to harm reduction, public health, drug policy reform, and social justice. We advocate for public health-aligned responses to reduce and prevent harm from drug use.
