Join the lecture and panel discussion that will foster a dialogue on health equity, as it relates to community advocacy, community engagement and community-level work. From targeting community-based and engaged perspectives to work with Canada’s Indigenous and Black communities, the discussion will emphasize the importance of tackling inequities in healthcare amongst other issues.

The Vohra Miller Lectures in Critical Public Health Issues in collaboration with the Institute for Pandemics aims to foster a dialogue and engage the public health and health system communities on significant issues facing the health of Canadians. In doing so, it positions the Dalla Lana School of Public Health as a hub of public health and health systems experts and thought leaders who are having a positive impact on health locally and globally.
