Partners In Health co-founder Dr. Paul Farmer was a global health and social justice visionary, a brilliant physician and scholar, and a lifelong teacher and friend. Paul tragically passed away in February 2022 in Rwanda.
This year on Oct. 26, on what would have been Paul’s 64th birthday, Partners In Health is celebrating a Global Day of Action. We hope you will join PIH Canada for a panel discussion and Q&A to celebrate Paul’s life and legacy, so we can collectively use the inspiration of his actions to build a healthier, more just world for all.
Our three panelists – Dr. Andrew Boozary, Dr. Adrienne Chan, and Dr. Mona Haidar – will share how their experiences learning from Paul and PIH shaped their own career paths. And because Paul loved laughter and a good story, there will be plenty of those, too. The panel will be moderated by PIH Canada National Director Mark Brender.
