The Collaborative Centre for Climate, Health & Sustainable Care presents…
On Wednesday, February 28 from 4:00-5:00pm join the conversation – Climate Action Cannot Succeed Without Older People: Exploring the Intersection of Aging and Climate. This event will be held in-person at Massey College. You can also watch the live stream and recording here: https://www.masseycollege.ca/events/massey-dialogues-intersection-of-health-and-climate/.
Populations are aging. The Earth is warming. Both are inextricably linked: not only are older adults more vulnerable to climate impacts, but climate action cannot succeed without older people.
Join Dr. Ross Upshur (physician and philosopher) and Massey Senior Fellow Dr. Ito Peng (policy expert and sociologist) in conversation with Massey Junior Fellow Q. Jane Zhao as they discuss the research, policy, and ethics at the intersection of aging and climate.
This Massey Dialogue is held in partnership with the Collaborative Centre for Climate, Health, and Sustainable Care, a new multi-faculty unit founded by the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, the Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing, and the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy.
