CanPath, a centre at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health (DLSPH) and Canada’s largest population health study, is expanding its genomic data resources, creating new opportunities for research into genetic, biological, behavioural, and environmental influences on health.

This webinar will introduce newly available Ontario Health Study (OHS) genomic data, its quality control process, and how it complements existing data from CARTaGENE (CaG) in Quebec.

Dr. Philip Awadalla will highlight how Ontario’s genomic data is being used alongside clinical data and emerging technologies to support cell-free DNA analyses, liquid biopsy development, and single-cell studies. Dr. Guillaume Lettre will explore genetic ancestry in Quebec, the French-Canadian founder effect, and the clinical potential of whole genome sequencing from 2,200 participants, along with genotype imputation and genotype-phenotype associations.

Whether you’re new to CanPath or already working with genetic data, this session will offer valuable insights into how these datasets can drive new discoveries.
