On behalf of the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, you are cordially invited to join us for a celebration of Professor Emeritus, Dr. C.P. Shah’s impact on Public Health in Canada. This event, a unique confluence of literary appreciation and academic recognition, is open to DLSPH alumni, community members, all interested in the trailblazing work of Dr. Shah.

The evening will feature a conversation with Dr. Shah hosted by DLSPH’s own Prof. Suzanne Stewart, Director of the Waakebiness-Bryce Institute for Indigenous Health, a networking reception to connect with fellow alumni, public health advocates and community members and an opportunity to meet with Professor Shah and have your copy of “To Change the World” personally signed.

As a testament to his enduring impact, we will also be presenting the C. P. Shah Alumni Award of Excellence to this year’s recipient, Mr. Matthew Anderson, President and CEO of Health Ontario and an MHSc graduate of the Institute of Health Policy, Management, and Evaluation (IHPME) at DLSPH.

We look forward to celebrating Dr. Shah’s enduring legacy and recognizing excellence in our alumni community while reflecting on our collective role in reconciliation efforts ahead of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
