The Promise of Clinical Public Health Symposium

The Dalla Lana School of Public Health is home to the only clinical public health division of its kind in the world. To kick-off strategic visioning for this new and exciting endeavor, Ross Upshur, Head of the Clinical Public Health Division, will moderate a lively discussion that explores the past, present, future of Canadian public health as well as opportunities, promises and perils that lie at the intersection of public health and clinical (primary) care.
The Promise of Clinical Public Health is an open symposium for the Dalla Lana School of Public Health and Faculty of Medicine communities on Thursday May 8 from 9:00a.m to noon. The event offers a terrific opportunity to hear from public health and primary care leaders, including: Vivek Goel, Howard Hu, Arlene King, Andrew Pinto and Danielle Martin. These public health professionals and clinicians will discuss how they’re redefining the Canadian health care system and the leadership role that U of T is playing.
