U of T joins Harvard FXB Health and Human Rights Consortium
January 30/2014
U of T’s Dalla Lana School of Public Health and Joint Centre for Bioethics are members of Harvard’s FXB Health and Human Rights Consortium in support of Health and Human Rights, an international journal that examines health issues from the perspective of health as a human right. This is the first partnership of its kind and includes leading international institutions, such as Berkeley, Columbia and Partners in Health.
“Researching and delivering solutions to public and global health problems almost inevitably requires addressing issues related to human rights, inequities and ethics,” said Howard Hu, Dean of the Dalla Lana School of Public Health. “By participating in this consortium and helping to shape the directions of this unique journal, we can engage the public in discussions around crucial health topics.”
