Dr Arnold Noyek has been appointed at the rank of Officer of the Order of Canada
July 2/2013
Dr. Arnold M. Noyek, CISEPO founder and perpetual leader, has received the Order of Canada. This is the highest recognition of compelling vision and the incredible accomplishments of his career in international development, global health, and peacebuilding.
This is the second highest civilian medal in the land. There were 34 Officers appointed and 40 Members (the 3rd level).
The selection is all carried out within a long entirely confidential and extensive enquiry process under the Governor General at Rideau Hall.
From the Dean (DLSPH)
“Arnold Noyek’s work has made huge contributions both to training health professionals in skills critical to health screening and health promotion, and to creating goodwill and international understanding in a region of the world that desperately needs it,” said Howard Hu, Dean of the Dalla Lana Faculty of Public Health.
